An Earlier Problem Corrected
I had signed up to get my electricity and natural gas supplies from CleanSky Energy for two properties four months ago. Somehow only the electricity accounts had been set up and nothing had been done for the gas accounts. Today, Jennifer, a supervising customer care staff member at CleanSky Energy, corrected the problem with the gas accounts and enrolled me for both properties. She will also arrange for me to get reimbursed for the extra money I have been paying to Washington Gas as a result of the earlier enrollment problem and a higher rate being used in my gas bills. Jennifer has assured me that she will personally monitor the situation to make sure today's enrollments go through and I will get reimbursed after I submit my gas bills so that they can compute how much should be credited back to my account. I am pleased with the service I received from Jennifer and her professionalism.

Excellent SignUp Service - Excellent Price
I have chosen to work with CleanSky today to supply both my elec. and gas. I have locked in rates and the process was easy and smooth. The representative Edward was easy to communicate with and he was generous with his time as I had first only contacted CleanSky regarding elec., but he then had me look at my gas (Th) rates. I was able to lock into a rate I believe will benefit myself and my family for the next 2 yrs. I appreciate the service and assistance I was given today.

Awesome Service
When I first decided to go solar I researched and learned a great deal. When Cleansky Energy contacted me and explained what the company good do for me, I thought it was great. Over the future years they will provide a lower cost per KWH's than the electric company did, meaning that I will lower my electric bill even more. Rovis from Cleveland, OH was the customer service agent I spoke with. Very kind and informative person. Listened to everything I needed taken care of and helped explain some prior issues from earlier in the summer that had been resolved but were still showing up on my bill.

This man is dedicated to his job and helping out his customers. I hate to say it but I was that customer calling at the last minute before they closed, and he was the last service rep there till past closing time helping me out.

He got me a great renewal rate, locked me in for 6 months, reviewed my previous bill, was very informative, did everything very quickly... and the entire time was incredible.

If management is reading this, this man deserves a raise!

Be careful if you have solar
I changed from another wind/solar provider to CleanSky. There was no information that they would not honor both a) my own solar panels and b) community solar. Potomac Edison didn't help, but the bottom line is that I was hit after complaining to Potomac Edison with a bill 3 months later that ignored all my solar benefits effectively meaning that I am paying twice since the forced me to pay CleanSky for my Gross kwh before taking into account the Net for Solar (which would have been close to zero). When I talked to CleanSky, they effectively said that I should have known when I ordered online that they didn't explicitly say that they honored solar (Whaaat? Really?). And that if I had called vs used the online ordering they would have warned me (Whaat? Really? can't order online and have solar). This is a scam if you already have solar and they don't care and won't honor the kwh from your solar. This is deceiving practice and evident of a broken system where one is actually penalized for trying to get all their energy from solar or wind instead of gas and coal. Very disappointed and hope that folks see warnings before they consider signing up for companies such as this.

The worse company I dont understand who allowed this company to exist. Charged me 4 times the normal rate in my area. When I asked at 888-355-6205. After an hur of hold and wish wash told supervisor is busy cant explain.

Was switched to clean sky without my knowledge and paid twice as my normal bill
I was switched to Clean sky without my knowledge from a third party. I don't know how this happened. My bill was twice the amount I usually pay. $364. FOR JUST ELECTRIC ALONE . Once I realized why , I called to get remove and had to go through hoops to get my service returned to my regular provider. They refuse to tell me who the person was who switched my service and refuse to show me any info saying that I signed up at all. SCAM SCAM SCAM. DO BETTER

A disgrace for a company
This company will charge you 3x times for there services said they sent one piece of mail for a renewal no phone calls and of course said they didnt have my email on file . I have been paying double and triple for electric for months DONT even offer to refund some nothing just a sorry we can give you another crappy rate and will never refer this company to anybody they should be ashamed of themselves charging people that kind of money

Break in
I have surveillance cameras all over my property as well as DO NOT ENTER, NO SOLICITATION and KEEP OFF PROPERTY signs. I had THREE men walk on my property. They knocked a few times before one the men tried to wiggle my door handle. MY DOOR HANDLE. I have two LARGE dogs inside, on top of all those signs and he really tried to see if my home is unlocked? I can easily sue them and ive reported multiple complaints with law enforcement and the company. Dont recommend. sketchy.

CleanSky is a scam
CleanSky is an utter and complete scam. A salesman came by and fast-talked me into signing up. He told me in no uncertain terms that this would save me money. For reference, my normal BGE bill was between $100 and $150. After signing up for CleanSky, my bill jumped up to almost $350. I called customer support, and they still tried to say that I was somehow saving money. Save yourself a massive headache and do not fall for their BS.

DO NOT go with this company
They suck. Their sales tactics are SLIMY. I wish I knew the name of the salesperson who came to my apartment complex and harassed STUDENTS to switch over to their company. White boy, about 5'8, dark hair, lots of tattoos. I will NEVER suggest this company based off of his unprofessional and shady behavior towards so many people in my apartment complex. 0 out of 10.

Three times the Charm Good bye ClearSky
Like others I was solicited to switch my provider to Clearsky based on KWH rate lower than Potomac Edison. I signed up for a 3 month promotional period and was assured I would receive reminder emails that it was time to renew. Nope Nada. I got huge bill and called in. I was credited back after they looked into it. I gave them second chance. This time after the 90 days I got a call. I renewed. But it somehow never made it in to their system. So another big bill. When I called this time they had to track down the recording of the phone call to prove I they had called and I agreed to new plan. Another credit applied. and the final period of 6 months was set. That was in april for may start. Now here we are in July and I get a $432 electric bill. My rate went from 6.5 to 15 cents a KWH. All this at 3 months not 6. I called again and said I am done and I wanted credit for the $200 overage to my bill. Originally they offered $150 I said no $200. They came back with $197 credit back. I agreed and said apply it now. They said two billing cycles. I told them I have cancelled and returned to PE and I want credit Now. My bill is due August 2nd with PE so I have to pay it and hope the credit makes it back for next bill. I don't know how they continue to operate like this. No one ever gets reminders or offer to reup plan. They just default to double or triple the promotion rate and leave it up to you to fight to correct.

The Ultimate Scamm
I was solicited outside of Walmart by teenagers they were giving away Bluetooth speakers they ask for my drivers license and cleansky energy some how stole my information to create a contract stating I switched my energy and gas services and upon cancellation of the scam I was charged Over 150 dollars for a service I didnt receive So don,t think they are Cub Scout they are the front line for the energy scam

WONT ANSWER MY CALLS AND SCAMMED ME
I never switched my stuff but somehow its been on my bill since March. I guess I didnt notice cause the price was the same. I am 20 years old with twin daughters and no income, the bill the sent me this month was more than my mortgage and I cant pay it. I have a shut off notice for February 24, less than 10 days. And they wont call me back.
Because of them I will have to MOVE OUT OF MY HOUSE because I cant stay here with my daughters with no electric and I cant get ahold of these people nor can I afford $250 ( half )just to stop it from shutting off. I DONT HAVE IT. I waited on hold for 20 minutes just for them to tell me to leave a voicemail. Then waited for another 7 minutes just for them to do the same thing. Im hysterical and I cant even get these people to talk to me.

They signed me on at 5 cents/kWh and recently more than doubled it to 11 cent/kWh. They told me over the phone that the rate wouldn't change.

Ridiculous
So the experience was horrible ! The woman lied and said it had to do with my BGE and it would just be a discount. Little did i know She signed us up for this not telling us the actual details! She deleted the text messages out of our phone confirming the information and then just left. Wasnt till i read Further more of the email that was sent to me that i knew what she explained was the not correct information she gave us. The man that helped cancel the plan was very nice and apologized for the wrong doing of the woman. Seems like a nice company they just need better people explaining and doing the stuff that come door to door because the way i see It is they are wrongfully getting people to sign up just so they can get their money from their Commissions
