She asked for my bill which I didn't mind getting since she said that is why she was here and she broke down my bill for me and showed me what all the rates are and meant, I found her very helpful. She then went on to explain to me what SFE energy offers and that I had options when it came to utility rates which I didn't know until now. I decided to sign up as it looked like it would help me and she said we would have to do a verification call to complete the enrollment and other details to confirm my account which was reassuring . Overall I found my experience with her very helpful and she was straightforward, very patient explaining everything to me and wasn't trying to push me to sign anything which I found comforting.

Representative was here today to sign me up. Her presentation was clear, concise, and very informative. I expect significant savings for both gas and electric services by transferring my business to this company.

I had a young lady come to my door, she explained I had a daily rate and it allowed me to use up to 10,00KWH for electric and 1000ccf for gas, which allowed me to use more without the pricing spiking. My bills have been consistent and Im not surprised month to month. Now if the utilities could lower the stupid delivery fees then that would be nice.

Had a great experience when Agent Mahmoud came by and explained the benefits of the flat pricing program
they offered. Now I am enrolled and dont have to how much energy Im using , it comes in flat every month!

I was busy working from home and a representative from sfe named Mahmoud came to my door. I was unsure at first but I listened. He informed me about customer choice and broke down how my bill worked.
and so now I have a flat rate every month .

I usually ignore anyone who comes to my door, but this time I didnt. A representative named Mahmoud came to my home and the experience was delightful. I finally got my first bill and the rate is fixed as the representative stated so as long as it stays that way for 3 years Ill be satisfied .

My experience was absolutely wonderful. I dont understand why the bad reviews because my bill actually decreased the last 2 years. Philadelphia office is very good. They explained everything to me correctly and my bill was 250$ & they decreased it to 80$ This been my bill for the last 2 years. The door to door reps well dressed, very professional and they are the only supplier for peco & pgw that lock you in at the state lowest for 3 years. All other providers Ive tried they locked me in 2 months low than I start being over charged and double billed. They also lock you in at 180$ for the next 3 years if the average bill is over 150$. They are amazing! Everything you read on the internet is not always correct. If they was a scam the police would not allow they to work the Philly streets. Choose SFE ENERGY IF YOU WANT A LOW BILL.

This company came to me door and assured me that if I move I could easily cancel this service with PECO. My husband was transferred and we moved out of state. I called SFE gas company and they denied this stating I would get billed for cancellation fees. I sent them a verification document where I moved and they still insist that extra fees for cancelling before contract ended (4yrs) would apply. CAUTION --Do not use or recommend this company

This company is a scam. They told us we will save money but instead we just paid double. They never told us about a contract and now they are charging us $160 for cancellation!!!

I had a young gentalman come to my door and talk to me about this service caused by the wild fire and it would assure me that my gas price wouldn't go above 29.99$ every month. My bill has been double! Thinking about swewing this place I am not gonna pay callenelation fees see y'all in court!

My regular bill last month by PECO was $338.78. With SFE discount $555.33. Thanks for the discount SFE. Another attack on Senior Citizens. This is shameful business for people who worked all their lives and retire and on a set income. Now I have to pay $216.96 this month extra.

Absolute SCAM. They take advantage of senior citizens who do not understand the market. They also take advantage of poorer communities who might not speak english well either! They told my parents that they were being forced to change and that if they were going to have giant pay hikes. They play shady by acting as if they're part of your electric company and going door to door saying they need to update your record on something. They call all the people and they press all the button pretending to be you and skipping the entire fine print over the phone so you don't hear the warnings. My parents signed up (more like they signed them up since they didn't want trouble with PSEG) BUT they were not told that 1, there was a contract for 3 years and that 2, there would be a cancellation fee of 160 dollars.

Advice, if they (SFE) are ever inside an apartment building(or on your lawn) without the super or a tenant, tell them to leave at once or call the police for trespassing on private property. They ARE NOT PSE&G nor do they have any business being there.

High pressure sales and extremely deceitful. They are NOT at all green/renewable energy which is just one of the lies I was told by the sales rep. Horrible company.

Overall Scam. The say they are from your energy company and you must sign. I had the sales lady tell me what to say while on the phone so my service does not get interrupted. My bill went from $25 to $166. They should be investigated... also the 5* reviews on here are obviously fake...same review different dates and names...same name different review dates.

They entered my building identifying themselves as PS&G and I need to fix an error in my account. He made a call and passed the account details and solved everything because I don't speak English. So now I have an account 3x the normal value they are dangerous

These people are scammer... Their salesman will knock the door saying that its an assistance program with pg&e and assure you to provide fixed charge for gas and low pg&e bill.. But u will get shocked after you get your pg&e bill almost double than u r usually paying... when u call them to cancel there is another scam as they ask you a $300 for cancellation fee... They are making huge money by scamming people and their main target are elderly people and immigrants F*****g scammers

The sales people come to your door saying they are contracted by PECO to make sure you are not effected by the price increases. I said I'm not going to change my energy supplier. Again they said they were contracted by PECO. They ask to see your PECO bill. Do not show it to them. They are trying to get you to switch energy suppliers.

Should have known better than to switch to them. A man came to my door saying my electric and heat would go up with my current company, had papers and everything, statistics, everything so he said switching to sfe would save. WRONG! My electric bill jumped 4 times higher than it should have, heat separately went up about 3 times as much. Worst company I have dealt with, customer service didnt understand that I wanted to cancel. Plus the cancellation fee for both is $80 so thats $160 for both. Horrible company feels like a scam and I fell for it.

My PSEG bill before SFE is around $30. After signing up with SFE, bill amount is $176. When I called customer care for cancellation, they told me that the cancellation is fee is $114 and it will take two months time to take effect which means I got to pay like $176 for two more times. I will end up in paying $500+ for no reason. Instead I have given an option to change to a new plan and to a new contract for two years. Per my bad experience, keep yourself away from SFE.

The representative who approached my husband told my husband our bill would not go over $85 a month. So he signed. My first bill from this company wad $477. More than doubled. Them they said they would give me a refund and only refunded a little of my money. Now they will hear from my lawyer.

No one told me there was a cancellation fee and no one answers when you call I've been trying for two months I am just cancelling let them sue me can't get blood out of a rock .

I have dealt with 3rd party suppliers before all of which locked in a max rate per unit of energy used and if rate went down they would match it. This was not the case with SFE. I asked the "sales associate" several times if I was paying fixed rate per unit of energy used - told me I don't understand and that my bill will be cheaper because I'm currently being overcharged. Looked at the next bill and it was fixed rate per day regardless of gas and electric usage. BILL WAS 5X HIGHER THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN given amount of energy used. Tried to cancel twice so far and it hasn't gone through.

Horrible people its big scam, they got my information from somewhere I didnt even know I had account with SFE energy the supervision name ALI its criminal its said the salesperson name STEVEN SARACENU hes male deal regales about the account with SFE ENERGY they stole money from people, I talk to them on the phone very unprofessional what so funny I call PSE&G to tell them why none call or contact me about unusual move with SFE energy, they said its by the law they can do Whatever they want. Its fake company they dont deliver any supplies energy full of it, when I ever pay not more the 23$ with PSE&G now I end up pay almost 400$. Those people should go to jail, they rip off people

I received a cold call to change over my utilities. The woman started her rehearsed script and it sounded fine until I interrupted her to ask questions to verify that this was a legitimate call and not a fishing call. She was mildly flustered by going off script but she was polite. Thank you Lisa. But my concern is that I would be paying considerably more for this program. (Beyond the additional $6 service charge). So after looking at my bill I saw that my delivery rate was coming up as 13.06/kwh vs 15.47 that they were quoting me. About a 16% difference. I called the customer service line and got a third party call center over seas, so I called the number she called from back and got someone who identified as her team leader. He was RUDE. He kept talking to me like I was inconveniencing him. He said that the difference was additional fees that I was not seeing thought National Grid's billing and then he "man-splained" that the difference we were discussing was less than a penny. No kidding. If I were buying one kw of energy then yes, it would be a penny... but I am buying them by the thousand... which adds up. We are talking about a possible 16% increase in my utility bill.

This company would send an associate to your house door and claim falsely that they are partners of your gas provider in order to make you sign an agreement with them. Then they would charge you a flat $30 for your gas consumption on a monthly basis in addition to the fees of your actual use. Furthermore, they would make it extremely hard for you to opt out of their service by keeping lying to you and giving you fake promises. If you manage to cancel your agreement with them, they would charge you high cancellation fees as if you had begged them to get their service in the first place. I kept calling them and emailing them to cancel the agreement, and every time they would lie to me by saying it was my original provider's responsibility to cancel stop their gas agreement with me. Eventually, I had to play a trick in order to end their scam agreement completely after all of my other efforts to end it failed.

This company called me saying that their phone call was from pse&g and asked me pse&g POD # in order to send me an apology check because I over paid. They lied to me to enrolled me in their electric supplier. The they called from was not in service I got their number after I was enrolled. Is not fair

A young man showed up at my door claiming that he can work with me on lowering my PG&E bill. As the dumb and tired person that I am, I showed him my PG&E bill as he asked, and signed up for the service. I thought it was sus that I had to call through my phone to confirm my application. I quickly tried to finish up the entire visit and immediately called customer service to cancel my plan after reading all the horror stories online - especially on reddit. If you keep calling and cancel within the same day (Or in my case, 15 minutes after I shut the door), you should not have to pay any cancellation fees. I even called again to confirm that I wouldn't have to pay fees since I canceled within the same hour.

TDLR; Don't sign up. It's a scam. If you weren't thinking correctly at the time and signed up, cancel within the same day, and keep calling and emailing so you don't pay any fees.

I never really paid attention to my PGE Bill till it said I owed 546$ for just this month. Like WTF!! I ALWAYS TELL MY WIFE DONT BELIEVE THESE PPL AND LOOK NOW IM FUCKING 800$ in debt!!! They arrive saying that they are on behalf of the electricity or gas company because people are claiming for increases in their bills, then they enroll you in a program and your bill is tripled. my average bill was $ 70 and from one month to another it went up to $ 210 because of these scammers.

A guy, taking a folder with PSE&G documents, knocked my door told me he was sent by PSE&G to make sure all the residence signed a contract with the current energy supplier to lock the current low energy rate. All residence must sign, then I found a contract of SFE energy NJ with my signature sent to my email. I was asked to confirm the contract immediately by phone, but I refused, telling them I need time to read the contract first. I found according to the contract, my natural gas price will increase from 38C to 83C/therm, and the electricity will from 12C to 17C for three years. Now is winter, I guess my bill will be doubled if they were success. Apparently, they have successful made some residents in my community signed a contract with them. Try to call the campany to recind the contract, never got connected.

NO STARS. They are predatory and a scam. They presented themselves as PSE & G said my account was wrong and needed to be fixed, I fixed and then moved months later. Suddenly I get an early cancellation bill from SFE but to reiterate, they presented themselves as my current company and are now threatening collections for an early cancellation fee. Just stay AWAY

They will charge you a lot more than PSEG company. I was paying around $40 per month with PSEG then added SFE. Paid $190 per month. They told me I can cancel anytime without any cancellation fee but they asking for $80 for cancellation fee. Stay away from SFE if you dont want to waste your money. If need proof I can show the bills with PSEG and SFE to compare.

Tale as old as time, had someone come to my door. Talk up this company by telling me Im gonna be saving money. Maybe I really signed up cause these people dont know how to take NO for answer when you try and nonchalantly get them off your door step. honestly everything was fine till I recently got a bill saying that they were charging me an arm and a leg for a cancellation fee...... and Im like WHO TOLD YOU I WANT TO CANCEL MY SERVICE?!?!! I cant afford for some money hungry company to randomly decide this is the one we are gonna fuck with and get more money out of. They got their cancellation fee from me today. Huge scam! Dont even entertain these people when they come to your door. They pretended they were associated with PSE&G, asked me to sign my initials to provide permission for them to email me information, and then to participate in a phone call where the guy was giving me the answers I was supposed to say. Meanwhile in reality, they were signing me up for their service, not just taking my information to provide me with further details at a later time.

My father died 4 days ago, I told them this, they were still extremely rude and pushy. I finally had to shut the door in their face a second time to get them to leave me alone. I will never do business with them.

Made repeated attempts to contact this company. Was told by the person who pick up after being on hold for 40 minutes, that someone would call me back. No reply. This happened repeatedly. No service from them, disconnected. Of course now they get in touch with me with huge bill.

Do not ever go for SFE energy. The salesperson is just scamming you by saying that the total gas charges might reduce but they forget to mention the gas procurement charges which they charge every month. It shoots up the bill unnecessarily even if you are not using the gas every single month.
They will charge you a contract cancellation fee as well, which is totally unnecessary.
Stay away from SFE if your usage is minimal.

My bill went high sky after I enroll them by mistakenly. They promise to keep your PSEG bill in a certain amount and it is a lie. Now I can not reach their customer service. They do not answer the phones and emails. I am not sure about the cancellation fee and can not even find out about it.

If a young persons comes to your door promising you low energy bills - SHUT THE DOOR!! This is a scam!! I don't know how it is legal for SFE to do this. My gas supply charges went up by $80 and their promises of cancelling at anytime for only $2.50 is a bold faced LIE! I learned my lesson the hard way. Some representative from SFE came to my house random and starting telling me how I could save money on my gas bill and SFE was providing options to low income communities by each month 50$ dollars refund back to customers each month and that SFE had low income neighborhoods best interests.It was all a lie my bill went up and the 50$ dollars a month refunded back to me turned into a $50 coupon off shopping meaning I had to spend my money,when I found out this information I tried to cancel service and they did not cancel,Two years later the contract by expired.And can you believe SFE renewed there own contract without my consent.I am going to sue the ,_)(+&_& out of these crooks most dishonest company I have ever had dealing with.Where is the consumer protection against companies that are nothing more then fradulate crooks preying on consumers.Refund all my money Now.

They came to my door for the third year in a row, offering a fixed rate but not disclosing that, at my current rates And the associated PGE fees, I'd be paying more per month after the initial few months. Stop harassing me, and your employee didn't wear her mask correctly.

Had a representative that preferred to have his/her name not used came to the door with very very strong pushing for sign up with contract with seemingly good terms. Individual unfortunately would not go into explicit details of various savings and costs, a quick search of BBB complaints revealed that either this particular commissioned worker chose not to disclose the finer print details of costs. Various fees were omitted, including a cancellation fee PER MONTH were not disclosed, or outright glossed over instead going into details about savings without any hard numbers. Further went on to give long stories about how they worked in Maryland and faced discrimination about their asian heritage while working around the neighborhood here instead of providing concrete hard details of numbers and figures.

Furthermore had been pushed into calling an unknown third party that was greatly interested in getting our details and vocal acknowledgements of agreement (more specifically requesting re-acknowledgement to be "Yes" or "I Accept" rather than other terms) and after requesting a brief pause for consulting with family members the agent hung up on us. ( Why is there even a third party handling sign ups in lieu of the actual company representatives? )

Very suspicious experience over all, do suggest caution and to review papers thoroughly yourself or with an impartial (4th?) party that isn't one recommended by door-representative. And also request time to review paperwork and a contact name/number to use if needed.

I'll start by saying I'm brand new to the state of PA and I don't remember ever having the option to choose my electricity supplier. When the young woman came to my door, she 100% led me to believe she worked for PECO and they were doing some sort of update and I needed to sign papers and give her my old electric bills, etc. I'm kind of clueless regarding this action and kept asking her, "Please tell me again what this is about?" and again, she explained that she was there to help me save money on my electric bill. I don't recall her ever saying "SFE Energy" and I wonder if that's why this company has someone call you and ask you to confirm that you want to change suppliers. After she left and I realized what had taken place, I was upset to hear I had been misled. I called SFE to immediately quit the service. An email from SFE read "You have until Jan 17th to change your mind and opt out of this change." So I called with weeks to spare and the woman told me it was too late to change suppliers and I'd have to at least go through one billing cycle before I cold change back to my original supplier. All that said, I received my bill today and the rates are HIGHER than PECOS's. I'm so irritated with this company that I spent 10 minutes writing a bad review.

Added an extra 40 dollars to my bill. I was only paying 30 dollars before SFE and now I pay 70-100 a month. Horrible

The guy John came here lied about everything misrepresented like he was from the city of Akron and I had to sign up for this otherwise my bills were going to go up. He stayed here the entire time and wouldn't leave, when the lady on the phone asked me if he had left he stayed here and told me to lie that he was gone. If they come to your door call PUCO immediately so they know to look in the neighborhood and check and see if they did it to anybody else.

I work for a small business where my boss owns a few apartment complexes. He sold two of them and one day we got a certified letter in the mail. When I opened it, it was a bill from SFE Energy for $6600.00 for a cancellation fee! Seriously? I've never heard of such a thing. Obviously, we are not paying this and if need be, we will take it up with our lawyer.

A representative came to my door stating I'm paying $40 monthly which is too high and he can bring it down with switching the supply with SFE. Now they send $283 bill just for gas which I have very minimal usage that it can't exceed $40-$50 at any cost as it's a 1 bedroom apartment with one person living in it and not a Bungalow. And top of that they sent me cancellation charges $255 which was told to me as $7. Why these scammers are able to operate openly and how could PG&E have the option to switch the company if these scams are happening. I will do a lot of their publicity by putting this everywhere if they don't resolve this matter ASAP.

We were ready to sign up until we found out that there is a monthly fee of $33.15 no matter how much gas you use!!! NO DEAL!!! So with monthly fee we would of been paying $1.16 per CCF not the $0.699 we were quoted!!! Also there is a fee of $50.00 per month for electric!!

Fail to disclose who they are and are SELLING gas rather than an audit for my current supplier. Should have hung up then and there. The very next day I called SFE to cancel giving all information. Only after a few weeks I got mail and the same day returned the written cancellation allowed by law to Mass-SFE, which was also never declared over the phone, as not being national SFE.
MASSACHUSETTS should also clean up their telemarketing laws.

The rep lies and he told me some thing different to what they charge me for then I recieved big fee because i canceled thrir services.

SFE is just some thieves together ripping money from citizens. They come to you and say things all beautiful and you start receiving 4 times your old bill. My aep billing was below $100 and they said they can lower it my bill is now $475. Bad customer service and they will tell you that they will put you on a collection to destroy your credit report. It was ok until I got bill and they charged me $136 dollars plus the bill amount to supply this high way robbery then train young kids to come to your house to talk you into to lower your bill but when you get it .It is 4 times higher than what it usually is fuck this company

This young guy "Tyler L" came to my elderly mothers house and told her she was being overcharged. Signed her up at 9.99 when she was paying 3.89 and broke her current contract. I called him that evening when I stopped by he was extremely unprofessional and kept hanging up on me when I asked about cancelling & his supervisors number.

Run & run quickly. If I could have put zero Stars I would have!! A gentleman came to my door offering a better rate on my gas & electric. I explained I was in a co-op with my utilities. He told me my electric would be 4.6kwh with them for 3 years. I don't recall what he said the gas would be. We looked at my bill & saw I was paying 4.9 kwh, so trying to save a little money during pandemic times, I agreed to switch. He used my phone to call customer setup, put it on speaker phone & then told me he was going to stand there & "help me through the call-but don't tell the agent that he's there". He wrote yes, no & my account number on his notepad. As the agent on the phone talk to me, he would point to yes or no on his notepad as the answer he wanted me to give. Something felt really off about it but I went ahead, against my better judgment. When the call was over, he told me it would take 2-3 billing cycles for the new bill to come. That was in late June 2022. Well, I got my bill for the month of September 2022, yesterday.... It's normally $56 but this bill was $127!!!! I'm on the budget plan so I called my electric company immediately. The agent explained that even though I'm on the budget plan with them, SFE was charging me 5-something PLUS a daily customer service fee that equalled $44!! WHAT?!?! That was never explained nor agreed upon. So I'm locked into a 3-year contract at 5. whatever with a daily customer service fee.....nope, I'm done. I called SFE to tell them I wanted to cancel service because this is not what was explained to me and I felt like I have been frauded. The SFE agent profusely apologized, told me she would be glad to cancel my service and then told me there's a cancellation/exit fee of $250 per utility = $500! If I wasn't mad before, I'm furious now. I told her that was fine because I needed to get off the phone before I said something I was going to have to go back and apologize for later. I went to work and called on my lunch break and spoke to a different agent and explain the situation and that there is no way that I am going to pay $500 for an exit fee when I feel I've been the victim of a scam and I'm going to report them to the Better Business bureau. That agent profusely apologized and told me to send them a copy of my bill where it shows I'm on the budget plan and they will waive my exit fees. I immediately sent them the email with the bill screenshot attached. I'm going to wait and see what they do but I'm still going to report to the Better Business bureau! This is a scam as far as I can see and I do not recommend them at all!

It has shown that having SFE services, for my Gas and Electric utilities_is not _and has not saved money. Please cancel asap its been 90 days savings is not there! I realize there is a charge of 25.00 however, Ive used SFE services for my Gas and Electric services and it has been a burden to my budget. It is a hardship please return my utility servicies Back to PECO for Electric utility and Back to Philadelphia Gas Works PGW for gas utility. Thank You!

I had a door-to-door salesman who said nothing would be changed and that it was cheap. So I was cheated. I just cancel couple days I was received a cancellation fee of $270, OMGsee the such a high fee. It's a complete lie

I was lied to and told it was my current company and needed to correct my pricing.
I made several attempts to cancel.
Despite paying to cancel, they have sent us to two additional collections agencies and called repeatedly harrasing my business.

I have been harassed by SFE before , during and after the contract. I agreed, then I decided against it. (within my allotted time of refusal ) . Now they keep calling me and harassing me. I am inclined to file a harassment law suit.

Absolutely terrible! The sales rep came to the door and explained how our bill would be evenly priced throughout the year so we didn't have a fluctuating bill in the summer/winter months. Once we agreed, every bill we received was over $400, a huge job in an opposite direction we wanted our bill to go! On average we paid about $260 A month. Then the cancellation fee was over $500! They are thieves! The customer service people have no idea what's going on when talking to them and they are not helpful. I would NEVER recommend sfe energy

Not only do they impersonate your company, but they also lie about how theyll drop the prices of monthly bills. Theyre pushy and wont take no for an answer during the application process

I had a rep come to my door and tell me he was with BGE and my house was on the list for high utility expenses and I would get a credit of 75.00 for 3 months if i would like the credit i would have to do a phone verification I was never told my supplier would be changed and I was lied to . When calling the CS line I kept getting spoken over trying to convince me to stay but not apologizing for rep lying stating he was with BGE not a 3rd party. It felt like a scam . So disappointed

I had a lady come to my door and make it seem like I had to sign up or my bill would increase. She did not explain that this was a contract. So, not only did my bill double as a result from signing up but they are trying to charge me $250.00 for trying to cancel. This makes no sense!

SFE is a scam. I used to work for the Maryland location. If you call them out for their awful customer reviews they say things like " Oh its a billion dollar company of course there will be bad reviews. They mistreat their employees. They drop us off in random locations and we have to go door to door ALL day NO breaks. Alot of woman end up leaving because unlike the guys who they tell us to just use the bathroom behind a tree or something the females would have to either wait for a ride to use the bathroom or walk. They do not save you money and all they are trying to do is switch your supplier. Switch at your own risk. Oh yeah one last thing we get our paychecks through cash app. While I was working there I have never seen a paystubs and I was there for a little over a month

They came to my door claiming to be from my power company and said that by signing up with them I would be switching to green energy at no extra cost. My actual power company got in touch and told me it was a scam, so I cancelled. SFE sent me a $250 cancellation bill, which sucked, but I paid it to be done with them. Then, a month later, they sent me ANOTHER $25O bill for cancellation. I have not been able to get in touch with their customer service to resolve this yet, but you can bet they're going to get an earful.

Person showed up at our door advising us that they are the new energy provider in my neighborhood. Sure, I could have questioned more. My bills went up, cancelling requires a ~$500 fee OR I have to stay with them for another billing cycle. I was manipulated and charged more than if I had stayed with BGE. Total ripoff.

I worked for this company for a few days and they never paid me and they do not care about there employees they will have you working getting a heat stroke

My problem was they told me one price and for month it was low. The second month it was high the third bill was higher . I called to cancel and was told I could not. Once I told her I was going to BBB they cancel. My bills have been so much higher then it's been since buying my house in 2005. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

While whatever theyre doing seems legal and legitimate, its just a business designed to deceive unsuspecting customers into paying more, and then worst of all , paying a cancellation fee. I received a call stating they were BGE, I asked a dozen times. After they got my ID they put some arrogant schmuck on, Rick Jannes, who continued to tell me he was from BGE until he told me to write down the name SFE Energy and basically laughed in my face and told me that's how business is done when I confronted about lying

The representatives come door to door and provide you with false information about your bill. I was informed that my bill would not change and it should be cheaper because I was being overcharged. Also informed I could cancel anytime free of charge. After receiving my bill in the mail it in fact went up by 75.00 due to the energy provider. When I called to cancel, I was informed it would be an extra 275.00 bill because I am cancelling service.

The young lady that came to my door told me how my electric bill would be lower. Received my first bill and because of SFE Energy Maryland my electric bill had doubled. They are charging me a large customer recovery, but I live in an ALL electric home so I will ALWAYS have an overage. The people that come to your home are not knowledgeable about all the extra fees and the customer does not know about the fees until you are already signed up with them. Then they have nerve to want the customer to pay a fee for not wanting to be taken advantage of. I would NEVER recommend SFE Energy to anyone!
