4Change Energy -- Profile Analysis

I have enjoyed working with this company however when I asked them for a more competitive renewal rate they were unable...so for this good paying customer its off to TriEagle who seems to have their customers happy with their renewal rates.

I cancelled my contract with another electricity provider because they left out some important details in their pricing structure. I'm so glad I chose 4changeenergy. My first bill was $200 less than my previous bill - and that was in the winter months (I have gas heat - not electric). I had the most amazing customer service experience with 4 change energy. My situation was quite complicated but Sheryl helped me to get a resolution and I am very happy with the results. She was very patient and friendly during the whole process. I wish every company had a "Sheryl" in their customer service department.

Yolanda was very patient and informative as she answered my many questions and researched my location ID # so we could complete the enrollment in one session. She was so helpful I did not even consider giving Reliant a chance to retain my business. She is an asset to your team.

By the way, my benefit of switching from Reliant was to reduce my KWhr rate from over $0.17 to under $0.08! I cut my utility bill in half!

Having gone through a couple of billing cycles, I am delighted that the deeply discounted rates promised when I was signing up have come true! My monthly bill was cut almost in half from what my previous provider (Reliant) charged me. Customer service walked me through the first invoice to explain how it was calculated, so now I understand it completely.When I read some of the other reviews regarding actual billing rates and compare it to my experience, I have to conclude that either their comments are not honest feedback or that they did not take the time and effort to understand the billing process before they signed up.

These guys are pretty great - they have good prices, support green energy, and support charities. Not sure how that all fits under one label, but they manage pretty well!

My prior electricity provider increased my rates once again for the next contract cycle. While I'd been reluctant to switch in the past, I did my research and found that 4 Change not only had very competitive rates, they support good causes. I'd heard that switching providers can sometimes be a challenge . . . not with 4 Change. They took care of all the details and my transition to them was seamless.

I love my much less expensive energy plan. The small bills make paying the bill a lot better each month. Thanks 4 Change for making my life a lot easier, and giving me more money in my pocket.

For Change is a refreshing change! I get the lowest rates I can find and give to charity! Every time I'm approached by a competitor, they ask my rate. When I tell them, they say there must be hidden monthly fees! For Change doesn't have any hidden fees! Their customer service is great and they show up when they say they will! I love For Change!!

I wanted a 100% renewable energy plan. These tend to cost a bit more than non-renewables but I was willing to pay a bit extra. Overall, I've been very satisfied with 4Change Energy. They aren't the cheapest but 4% of their profits go directly to charity. It would be nice if they had more charities for me to choose from.

4 Change has consistently offered a very competitive rate and it's very important to us that much of their power is sourced from renewable alternatives.There was a little issue the first month with the fact that I like to pay the bill on my own schedule while they start pulling in payments quite early, even before our payday, but we got that worked out.

I was shopping for a new provider when my former provider hit me up with a huge price spike after the 6 month intro rate. I enjoyed low prices from 4 change for the last several months but assumed I was going to get hit with the same exact price spike after 6 months. I was delighted when I got an email to extend my current plan for another year!

Basically I am totally satisfied with the service all around.

Have had nothing but good experiences with 4 Change. Not only have my electric costs been reduced, but the few times I have needd to call about anything customer service was great and service was quick. When my contract was close to expiring I appreciated that 4 Change contacted me and gave me opportunity to renew.

Ultra competitive pricing and the ease of switching was crazy good..about 2 minutes and done!!

Upon contract expiration, I always search for the most reasonable price plans. 4 Change Energy was about the only one out there at the time that had the cheapest plan & it was considerably cheaper cents wise than the next lowest plan out there. Normally don't select plans more than 6 months in length but I chose this one since it was so low and would stay that way for an entire year. It looks like it going to be well worth it.

If you use a lot of electricity and want to use green energy, this is the company for you. After reviewing many plans, this is the only one that the more you use, the less you pay per KwH.

Easy to sign up - online, no agent trying to talk you into a particular plan. I was able to make my choice without someone pushing me to it. Never had a billing issue, 4 Change always sends me an email reminding me that my credit card is about to get a charge --- and it includes the amount. No surprises.

I am happy and very satisfied with 4change energy. A big thing is that the rates are very competitive and they donate a portion of there profits to a charity of your choice.

I renewed in May ,2016 without checking all details ,just basics. I am really pleased 4 change picked up on my wants and I am really surprised at the plan I have ! I compare with friends with similar house size and family size and ages . I am proud to say my plan lets me "brag" about my bill . 4 change has been very easy to work with . I've had excellent customer service when moving from one apartment to another, and ever since I found these guys, I have not even begun to consider moving to anyone else. My electric bill is consistently lower than all of my friends' bills (we're all 20-something grad students in apartments). I also love that part of my money is going to help important causes (though the prices are so low that I would probably choose this company anyway).

I've found being able to add my services on the computer a great big plus. Also no one can beat the prices! I'm in a duplex. My bill was $59.00 last month, my neighbor's was over $400.00. Now there's a problem! Gave her 4Change info, she has Streamline Energy? But I'll bet not for long.....

Cheapest price per kw that I've seen and superb customer service

Lived in Texas for 4 years now and had other Electric Companies in the past but nothing like 4 Change Energy. And I hope you continue to give your best to your costumers.

I'm in my third year with 4 Change. It started off a little bumpy due to the website, etc. but now all the problems seem to be ironed out and everything is quick and easy.

Likewise, I was only given one selection for renewing my contract and that's a rate they chose rather than another 10 rates I found from 4change online by researching other companies.However, still a great price and great service. Been with them for 2 years now and haven't had any regrets. I refer friends from time to time.

Its hard to distinguish one company from another in the very competitive Greater Dallas area utility (electricity) billing companies. The promise of lower rates and the incentive bonuses offered to get you to change companies are temporary at best. Over the long term, they all even-out with not a nickels worth of difference among them. So, how do you choose? You choose the company that makes life easy for you a community based company that makes charitable contributions in your behalf, makes it easy to do business with, talks in plain English to simplify things, and even makes it fun to do business with them. A company that has really good people and great customer service. That company is 4Change energy. Im a very happy customer of theirs, who had an issue with an expired credit card on file with them. I dealt with Tina Collins in their customer service department. Tina Collins was very good very professional, excellent word choices, never got flustered, and really kept her composure. That was impressive as Im sure I gave her a pretty hard time!

Overall, I've had a wonderful experience with 4Change Energy. I'm a researcher and Research things to death. They absolutely have the best rates combined with the fewest restrictions. The only thing I don't like is that you are required to sign up for auto-draft.

When I first inquired about plans and pricing, I couldn't have got a more helpful representative!! I told her what I was already paying and she found a plan for me. When she ran my information to see if I needed a deposit, I told her up front if I had to pay a deposit I would not be using their electricity. She laughed and said she understood. I did not have to pay a deposit:) when it was time to renew, they didn't raise my rates, they stayed the same. Great Great company.

Amazing prices. My bills are always lower than people I talk to and we keep our home fairly cool. Very easy to set up and renew. Love their charitable giving initiative as well. Renewable energy plans available for low flat monthly rate.

We switched to 4Change Energy in May of 2016. Everything was done on line and 4Change contacted our previous provider for us. Comparing our bills to SPLY, we have saved over $500 vs our previous provider. We couldn't be more pleased.

We did have a problem - an unusual one -- however, they took it and found the solution, called back and corrected and worked WITH us and again corrected the problem - and saw that it was corrected.

I've had 4change since 2013. I've never had lower electric bills. My house is agonist 2400 square feet and even in the summer with the AC on my bills average $120. On top of those great rates they donate a portion of what I pay to the charity of my choice from their list.

I had a terrible electric company before this (if I paid on the due date, I would have already received mean, red notices that my power was about to be turned off!) so I've been so happy that things have gone so smoothly. I am on automatic payments now but never had any problems with paying it myself each month either. One time my card was cancelled and I forgot to update it with them and they were very polite on the phone when I had to resolve it. The cost seems fine and I like the charitable aspect.

I had not heard of 4Chsnge Energy prior to viewing a comparative provider site. I was looking at 100% renewable energy at an economic price. I'm also impressed with the easy to register (switch providers) and their refreshingly accurate and responsive billing office.

I have been with 4change for a couple years now. When I moved I saw they had a fixed plan up to 2,000 KW. Not knowing how good the AC would work, I chose the fixed plan. It is nice because it is a low set amount every month. So, no big surprises!

They are friendly and trouble free. If I call its taken care of right there and I am done.
Cant get better than that and I have been with them for 3 years.

My experience has been very positive with 4Change Energy. Their contract was clear & concise and delivered on exactly what they promised. The only disappointment I had was once the rates proved true with no hidden fees, I didn't sign up for more than 12 months. The only reason for the 3 star on customer service was that I've had no reason to deal with them, so I stayed neutral. Now, they just offered me a 1-2 year extension on this great plan! Wooooohhhooooo! No hesitation, I signed up lickety split! Thank you, 4Change!

I personally enjoy the 79$ for 1000kwh plan since it covers all my power needs for a simple, consistent price. I know exactly what I'm getting for how much and I have the comfort of knowing that I have some extra kwh since I usually don't reach that 1000 mark. Customer service has been pretty great and the autopay option is also helpful. I had one hiccup where they did not receive and their notification email to me didn't reach me, but a quick phone call fixed that.
